This document outlines the customer relationship policy of eDEx Research LLP for dissertation services. eDEx Research is a privately held Limited Liability Partnership firm providing academic assistance to students in India and abroad. The policy covers general guidelines, corrections, ethics applications, data collection, and payment details to ensure high-quality service and successful outcomes for clients.

Services Provided

Research Proposal Development

eDEx Research assists clients in developing comprehensive research proposals tailored to their academic requirements.

Questionnaire Design

The company helps in creating effective questionnaires for research purposes, ensuring they align with the research objectives.

Dissertation Writing

eDEx Research provides assistance in writing final dissertations based on the approved proposal and other relevant documents.

Plagiarism Check

A plagiarism report from Turnitin is provided for all documents or files delivered to clients, ensuring originality

General Policy Guidelines

  1. eDEx Research is obliged to develop a Research Proposal, Questionnaire for the research, and the final
    dissertation.
  2. Dissertations are developed based on the proposal, ethics form, dissertation handbook, and any other
    documents or materials containing client suggestions.
  3. eDEx Research does not develop or provide assistance in developing or filling Ethics Forms for clients.
  4. The structure of the dissertation or chapters should be communicated before work begins.
  5. eDEx Research takes responsibility for issues regarding similarity in the original file and
    referencing/citation issues

Client Responsibilities

Clients are required to provide the following documents for successful completion of the dissertation:

  • Dissertation Handbook
  • Finalized Research Proposal & Tools for analysis
  • Preferred methodology for the dissertation
  • Tutor’s or Supervisor’s feedback a week before final submission
  • Approved Ethics & Allied Forms
  • Requirements of the students regarding the dissertation & any other materials orinformation

Correction Policy

  1. Timely Communication: Corrections should be informed to the customer support office as soon as possible by the student
  2. Processing Time: Minimum 72 hours is required to share the updated corrections, but eDEx Research will share the same before the client’s deadlines
  3. Correction Limit: All clients have an option for corrections to be made twice only. There will not be an option for any further corrections.
  4. Feedback Submission: Clients should properly inform the Tutor’s or Supervisor’s comments or feedback about the same before 1 week before the final submission.

Correction Submission Format

Corrections should be shared in the following format:

  • Use the file name shared by eDEx Research
  • Insert corrections as comments using the comment tool
  • Share a single word count reporting any other corrections or recommendations
  • Send a single voice note (no time duration limit) with all information about the corrections along with the document containing comments.

Ethics Application Policy

The dissertation will commence only after receiving ethical approval. If the client needs chapters before ethical approval, eDEx Research will start writing, but any changes or corrections before receiving ethical approval will be the client’s responsibility. Additional charges may apply for corrections or changes informed after work has begun without ethical approval.

Primary Data Collection Policy

Client Responsibility

eDEx Research prefers clients to collect and share primary data in the required format. Clients should confirm data type, sample size, and ensure data is genuine, clear, and complete.

Data Collection by eDEx

If clients cannot collect data, eDEx Research will complete the dissertation with data collected internally. However, they will not share any source, materials, information, or evidence of data collected.

Client Awareness

All clients should be aware of their dissertation details, sample size, methodology, and other relevant information. Changes in sample size after confirmation will incur additional charges.

Secondary Data Collection Policy

Clients should be aware of the data type, data source, and database mentioned in the research proposal, ethics form, or topic form. Any confusion after developing the dissertation regarding data-related matters will not be considered. Data type, sources, and sample size will not be changed after the commencement of the dissertation without additional charges.
Clients should inform if Secondary data is required for them after the completion of the dissertation while
booking the dissertation.

Data Collection Responsibilities

Any errors in sample size, data collection, or other matters associated with data collection will be the responsibility of the client. eDEx Research will not take any responsibility for these issues. Clients should be aware of their dissertation details, sample size, methodology, and other relevant information.

Payment Policy

eDEx Research accepts payment in two stages:

  1. Advance payment before work starts
  2. Balance payments on installments as informed

eDEx Research accepts only international transactions. Payments from Indian bank accounts will incur an additional 18% GST

Plagiarism Report

eDEx Research provides a plagiarism report from Turnitin for all documents or files provided to clients. The PDF file is the Plagiarism report from Turnitin to show the percentage of similarity in the document. Clients are advised to save the Word or PPT file on their computer or laptop and change the Author name from properties, details, Author name before submitting.

Dissertation Structure Changes

The structure of the dissertation or chapters should be communicated or shared with the customer support team before the dissertation or concerned chapter starts. Failure to do so and sharing changes after commencement will be considered a change in plan or structure, incurring additional costs based on word count and labor.

Responsibility and Refund Policy

eDEx Research will take responsibility only in cases of similarity issues in the original delivered file and
referencing/citation issues. Students must prove these issues within their file. In such cases, eDEx Research will provide either a 40% refund or rectify the issue. For any other issues, eDEx Research will not be liable and will not provide assistance or refunds.

Failure to Secure a Pass

If eDEx Research fails to complete or secure a pass for the client, they will study the feedback or Tutor’s/Supervisor’s comments and discuss them with the client. Further actions will be based
on this discussion.

Correction Limitations

Corrections shared without comments are difficult to follow up and update. Changes in dissertation chapter structure will not be accepted after the completion of the concerned chapter or the entire dissertation, as this is considered a change in structure rather than a correction.
